Rocky Gap State Park
Rocky Gap State Park is home to Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Resort, as well as an abundance of outdoor activities. Visitors to this 3,000-acre park will find a variety of things to do, from hunting and fishing to interpretive hikes and horseback riding. Evitts Mountain is a picturesque backdrop for Lake Habeeb, a 243-acre lake at the heart of this Western Maryland state park. There are also a variety of camping options, from cozy cabins to tent sites to backcountry camping under the stars. Those who like boating can take their craft out on Lake Habeeb anytime, day or night. Hello Leann,
Thanks for your note. Guests at the resort do not pay a park fee. Non-hotel guests visiting the park for the day are charged $5/person. This charge is not through the hotel. The state park and the resort are seperate entities. Hope this helped!
